The Experiment

Through Texas A&M University's Virtual Production Summer Industry Course with six students, we created a series of narrative advertisement deliverables based around SISU Robotics. As Director of Photography, my responsibilities included cinematography, camera operation, and advising lighting and set design. Over ten weeks, we meticulously planned for our film to be shot during one week at Red Productions' virtual production stage. During shoot week, we were accompanied by our industry partners at Captiv Creative and numerous industry mentors within and outside of Texas A&M University's Virtual Production Institute.

Our film has since been selected for numerous film festivals and has won two awards, making it the first and only virtual production film to win an award from the College of Performance, Visualization, and Fine Arts.
